Toronto bassist Dick Felix is a member of the Toronto Musicians' Association and has more than 30 years experience as a professional musician, performing in a wide variety of musical styles. Focusing primarily on jazz, working with many world-renowned musicians, Dick has performed live jazz music at all of Toronto's top jazz venues.

Featured bassist with the Bob Fenton trio, the house band backing hundreds of Toronto and visiting artists at the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival's after hours clubs including world famous jazz greats such as Roy Hargrove, Wynton Marsalis, Russell Malone, James Carter, Shirley Horn.

A student of the great bassist Dave Holland, Dick has produced and performed on numerous CDs. Three CD's include Dick's original compositions. Chloe's Dance, What's the Rub, Sonya

Co-leader of the "Forth Inversion" jazz quintet which has performed many concerts at jazz festivals and jazz clubs, including the Ontario Science Centre, U of T's Hart House, George's Jazz Club, Bourbon Street and the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival.

Member of the Del Dako Quartet from (1991 to 1996). After releasing a CD in May of 1991, the band performed at jazz clubs across Canada as well as the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival and the Ottawa Jazz Festival in 1996.

Dick currently leads his own Toronto Band featuring saxophonist Pat Labarbera and guitarist Dan Ionescu performing for weddings and corporate events. Musicians' biographies.
